Butch Jones Gives Vols TE Surprise Bowl Gift

Butch Jones has been credited with the revival of the Tennessee Volunteers football program. His recent success with the program earned him a contract extension from the University especially since the Vols will be playing in their first bowl game since 2010. Jones decided to award TE Alex Ellis a scholarship as the team prepares for the Tax Slayer Bowl against Iowa. The junior TE has played in all 12 games for the Vols this season and has had six catches for 115 yards and one touchdown.
